About Us
The philosophy
Our company name comes from the Santa Monica Track Club, which dominated the sprint track and field scene between 1982 and 1995 with Carl Lewis at the helm. As a result, we imported more and more brands such as Cervelo, Zipp, Karhu, Ironman, Coppi, Pinarello, etc., which we sold exclusively as wholesalers in Switzerland.
Parallel to the shops, the owner (former cross-country skier and triathlete from the very beginning) built
the Erox brand with its own branches in Germany and Australia. Erox focuses primarily on global wholesale, while Santa Monica Sport AG operates as a retailer in Switzerland and Germany.
We are shops but we are actually factories because we build bikes using a custom system
both in Zurich for Switzerland and in Rheinfelden (D) for the German market.
From athletes for athletes and the knowledge we have acquired in almost 30 years are our strengths. We have an efficient workshop where we build high-quality racing bikes and mountain bikes. But we also welcome products that we have not sold ourselves. In winter, our workshop is also there for cross-country skiers.

In Zurich we are the specialists for endurance sports. (cycling, running, swimming, cross-country skiing). There is always parking on the military road. With the bus 31 to Kanonengasse from there we are 50m above the bus station.
